Automation of CNC machine tools and injection moulding machines ensures the quality of workpieces
The automation of CNC machine tools creates an advantage for all process and further processing steps downstream of the CNC manufacturing process. With the aid of automation with palletizing systems on CNC machine tools, the CNC workpieces are placed on individually manufactured workpiece carriers (trays, blisters, pallets) in the correct position or orientation. This improves the further processing of the workpieces, as the workpieces no longer have to be positioned separately.
Since the palletizing systems automatically stack and unstack the CNC workpiece carriers, additional buffers (workpiece storage) are created and the autonomy in the process is increased. This results in a kind of networking of machines in the entire production process, right up to entire CNC production lines, as the subsequent process steps are already taken into account when palletizing the workpieces. This saves another additional process step, the separate separation and positioning. Since the entire tray, palletizing or blister stacks can be fed to the palletizing systems, the autonomy is significantly increased. The machine can thus be operated for hours without any operator. This is a particularly important advantage for CNC serial and mass production.
