Mid drive unit for plastic chain conveyors: greater flexibility puts an end to space problems

Available for the systems FS, FL, FM & FH, as a mid drive with returning chain and as mid drive with top-running chain.

The mid drive for plastic chain conveyors developed by modular automation increases flexibility, as it can be fitted to the chain conveyor belt at almost all points. Thanks to the mid drive there are no longer any space problems at the start or end of the conveyor belt section, as the attachment of the drive can be optimally adapted to the available space.

The usage and performance of the mid drive are the same as conventional drive units.

Due to the improved accessibility and the integrated chain mounting unit, maintenance work is significantly easier to undertake.

Mid drive unit with top-running chain

Along with the mid drive for returning chains, we offer the mid drive unit for top-running chains as used on circulating belts. The usage and performance of the mid drive are also the same as conventional drive units. However, you profit from the advantages such as flexibility and freedom of choice on positioning the drive.
