Drive units and idler units for chain conveyor systems / chain conveyors

The drive units are used to power the conveyor chain. Our drive units are powered by powerful motors. The exact motor power and chain tensile force for the drive units are listed in the following table.

The drive units differ not only in the power and tensile force, there are also drives available with and without variable velocity, with open or closed chain guides. Mid drive unit

The mid drive unit is used preferably if there is little space at the ends of the sections of conveyor belt.

End drive unit

End drive unit

The end drive unit for chain conveyor systems from modular automation are integrated in the deflector units at the end of a conveyor band line. The end drive unit is available as direct drive with slip clutch transmission left or right.

Wheel bend drive unit

The wheel bend drive unit is suitable for horizontal conveyor systems. This drive unit has a bend angle of 180°.

Combination drive units

Combination drive unit system FH

The combination drive units are available for all system sizes from modular automation. They comprise a three-phase motor mounted underneath and are available with drive on the left or right. The maximum tensile force is 1,250 N.

Idler units

Idler units

Idler units are the end pieces for conveyor sections and ensure smooth deflection of the chain. They are available with and without features for drive units.
